Job Title: Information Security Specialist

The role of the information security specialist is critical to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients' IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating project requirements, technical specifications, and scope of work to design and maintain secure IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Conducting thorough audits of IT systems, processes, and controls to identify weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.
  • Assessing potential threats to data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards through security audits and control evaluations.
  • Implementing and maintaining effective security measures to protect against cyber threats, including malware, phishing, and unauthorized access.
  • Evaluating existing IT controls and recommending enhancements or new controls to mitigate risks and improve security posture.
  • Preparing detailed reports documenting findings, recommendations, and remediation plans for management and stakeholders.
  • Providing training and awareness programs to educate employees about IT security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Monitoring IT systems and processes continuously to detect and respond to security incidents and compliance breaches in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating with other departments to address IT-related risks and compliance issues effectively.
