Expert Information Security Consultant

The role of an expert information security consultant involves ensuring the adequacy and timely resolution of all audit and risk assessment findings or issues relating to information security.

This critical position requires effective communication of audit engagement reports and recommendations to management, as well as resolving any client concerns or questions.

As an expert in this field, you will have the opportunity to ensure a 100% certification success rate on ISMS projects, further showcasing your expertise.

A key component of this role is the ability to grow into increasingly responsible positions and contribute to the team's mission of excellence in information security management.

To be successful in this position, significant experience leading information security audits with a preference for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits or assessments is essential. Additionally, experience in leading or knowledge with implementations, authoring policies and procedures, and solid knowledge of the NIST 800-171/FISMA framework and its derivatives are required.

Key qualifications include:

  • Significant experience leading information security audits with a preference for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits or assessments.
  • Experience in leading or knowledge with implementations.
  • Experience authoring policies and procedures.
  • Solid knowledge of the NIST 800-171/FISMA framework and its derivatives (e.g., Fed RAMP, CMS Information Security Program).
  • Enough Information Technology and Information Security experience to contextualize and make recommendations relevant and valuable.
