
Strategic Records Manager

Job Title:
A strategic manager is needed to lead and oversee the Records Management Program.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive program to ensure adherence to records management policies and standards.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify, develop, and adopt risk-based strategies for retaining or disposing of records and information.
- Provide expert advice on records management best practices and contribute to the commercial objectives of the business.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through relevant metrics and make adjustments as necessary.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of business management experience in a complex organization with expertise in records, data, and information governance.
- Strong understanding of record keeping laws and regulations, industry best practices, and ability to communicate effectively.
- Proven ability to act independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and sound judgment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Develop tools and processes to support efficient oversight of the Records Management Program.
- Support operational activities such as regional strategies, divestitures, third-party agreements, legal holds, archiving, and more.
- Lead initiatives to improve records management and provide expert advice on related matters.
