**Job Title:** Storage Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administration of SAN and storage environments.

**Job Description:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have hands-on experience with Hitachi Mid-Range and Enterprise storages operations support, including zoning via CISCO SAN Switches, both CLI and GUI and CCI HORCM. You must also be familiar with storage replication technologies like GAD, HUR, True Copy, Local Replication etc.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, good communication skills, and the ability to manage shifts single handedly.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of SAN and storage environments
  • Collaborate with Customer's storage support teams
  • Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting for assigned tasks
  • Support the design, operation, workflow and issue resolution for the storage infrastructure
  • Maintain systems level maintenance for storage infrastructure
  • Track existing storage usage trending and capacity planning for future growth
  • Maintain storage documentation, procedures and reporting
  • Provide Storage Area Network Configuration and Administration
  • Storage Allocations to server infrastructure

Requirements:

  1. 8 years+ experience in handling majority of activities mentioned in the scope above
  2. Experience in handling Hitachi storages and Brocade switches infrastructure
  3. Exposure to Operations and Management activities on Hitachi Storage(s), Unified compute platforms, various Host O/S including basic cluster management
  4. Strong verbal and written communication
  5. Hitachi Technical certification is desirable
