Platform Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Infrastructure Engineer to develop and maintain cutting-edge build and test environments for critical GenAI workloads.

This role requires partnering with architects to design and implement robust and scalable systems, as well as providing development support to SRE/Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Infrastructure: Develop state-of-the-art GPU compute clusters to support critical workloads, ensuring maximum reliability, efficiency, and performance.
  • Automated Testing Strategies: Create comprehensive automated testing strategies and frameworks across unit, integration, API, and end-to-end levels for critical commerce flows.
  • Performance Testing Frameworks: Design and develop robust performance testing frameworks to validate platform scalability, resilience, and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Monitoring Solutions: Develop comprehensive monitoring solutions with alerting systems to track platform health and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Automation Infrastructure: Build a scalable automation infrastructure that supports growing platform capabilities with consistent test environments.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on Experience: Over 3 years of direct experience building and deploying production-ready services on Kubernetes.
  • Open-Source Contributions: A proven history of engaging with and contributing to open-source projects.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Demonstrated by prior work developing scalable software solutions for cloud services.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to effectively communicate complex technical designs and decisions with internal teams.
  • GPU Computing and AI Infrastructure: Understanding of GPU computing and AI infrastructure.
  • Complex Technical Challenges: Strong passion for solving complex technical challenges and optimizing system performance.
  • Cluster Configuration Management Tools: Working knowledge of cluster configuration management tools such as BCM or Ansible, and infrastructure-level applications including Kubernetes, Terraform, and MySQL.
  • Container Technologies: In-depth understanding of container technologies like Docker and Containers.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming with Python and Bash scripting.

The ideal candidate should have significant experience with sophisticated infrastructure tooling, including Kubernetes Cluster API, Terraform, Helm, and Operator Framework, as well as practical, production-level experience across major cloud platforms: Azure Cloud, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
