Job Purpose

  • The Digital Marketing Experience & Innovation Manager will lead and deliver best-in-class customer experience and innovation across digital touchpoints for brand users in B2C and B2B spaces for the SA region.
  • Strategize the digital marketing journey, touchpoints, web, and app experience in B2C and B2B on an annual and quarterly basis.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and execute the development of digital assets and platforms for B2C and B2B brands, ensuring the capture and prioritization of local country requirements and agreement on delivery timelines with global teams.
  • Deliver web experience and support the company's digital/online marketing strategy to drive online acquisition through the adoption of digital technology, covering areas such as user experience, user journey, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), AB testing, and re-targeting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to create, develop, and manage content and new online campaign ideas for the company's web/online presence, ensuring content relevance and delivering website engagement.
  • Manage IT, risk, and group users on regulatory and internal due diligence, user testing, and remediation requirements relating to digital platforms.
  • Work with the Global Digital Analyst to analyze Adobe Analytics and generate site engagement and online leads acquisition opportunities.
  • Build and execute web analytics and reporting mechanisms for measuring effectiveness, benchmarking, and optimizing media campaigns, establishing a standard KPI framework and driving robust governance.
  • Adapt and deploy Google algorithm updates, content structures, link building, and continuously provide feedback to content teams on developing search engine-friendly content.
  • Handle large media budgets in a multi-country environment, driving high accuracy in media execution and forecasting for future campaigns through close collaboration with various teams.
  • Influence regional/country teams and drive partnerships with agency/media teams to ensure a collaborative approach in developing and executing digital programs.
  • Explore, evaluate, and build a roadmap for new technology in media and platform spaces to ensure our brands deliver best-in-class user experiences.
