Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

This role is designed for an individual with a passion for quality assurance automation engineering. In this capacity, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality automated tests using advanced technologies like Cypress and JavaScript.

You will collaborate closely with development teams in an agile setting to ensure seamless integration of testing into the CI/CD pipeline. This requires a deep understanding of software development methodologies and a strong ability to communicate with cross-functional teams.

  • Develop automated tests that meet the highest quality standards using Cypress and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Work with automation tools like Jenkins, leveraging custom plugins to optimize test execution and reporting.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of enterprise automation frameworks for parallelism and distribution.
  • Maintain and improve existing test automation infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability.

In addition to technical expertise, you should possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels. Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Possess 6+ years of relevant experience in software/web application testing in an agile environment.
  • Have strong hands-on coding skills in Cypress and JavaScript.
  • Be proficient in programming languages like JavaScript/TypeScript/Java/Python.
  • Have hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium (Ruby), Cypress, and Playwright.

Preferred Skills:

  • Have a deep understanding of JavaScript, CSS, and web standards.
  • Have REST API testing experience.
  • Be technically proficient in RDBMS, ideally SQL Server.
  • Have familiarity with client-side MVC frameworks.
  • Have server-side development exposure (preferably ASP.NET).
