Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, automating, and executing unit and functional tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software products using C# and Python. You will also design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring robust and scalable backend services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and automate unit and functional tests to ensure software product quality and reliability.
  2. Design and develop RESTful APIs, ensuring scalability and robustness.
  3. Build and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs.
  4. Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to identify test requirements and implement effective test strategies.
  5. Write clean and efficient code for test automation and API integration scripts.
  6. Participate in code reviews, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and testing trends, advocating for best practices within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep expertise in C#, including software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Proven experience developing, automating, and executing unit and functional tests.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and integration purposes.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, xUnit, or similar for C#; Pytest or others for Python.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), test lifecycle (STLC), and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools and processes.
