The selected candidate will arrange, set up, and configure necessary test environments to ensure effective and comprehensive test case execution. They will also actively participate in and conduct review meetings to discuss test plans, test cases, and the current status of defects.
Additionally, they will execute manual test cases with precision, meticulously analyze results, and accurately identify any deviations from expected behavior. The Quality Assurance Engineer will accurately track, log, prioritize, and manage defects throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring clear communication with developers until resolution.
Maintaining continuous and clear communication with the Test Manager and development team regarding testing progress, roadblocks, and critical findings is crucial. Developing, maintaining, and managing comprehensive test documentation, including detailed test plans, well-structured test cases for various testing processes, concise summary reports on test execution and defect status, thorough test data preparation for test cases, lessons learned documents based on testing inputs from previous projects, suggestion documents aimed at improving overall software quality, clearly defined test scenarios, and bug reporting are key responsibilities of this role.
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role. Strong analytical skills with an ability to dissect project requirements, design specifications, and user stories are required. Hands-on experience in setting up and configuring test environments, proficiency in executing manual test cases, analyzing results, and identifying deviations, expertise in tracking, logging, prioritizing, and managing defects through their lifecycle, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with development teams and test management, demonstrated ability to develop and maintain detailed test documentation, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software are essential qualifications for this position.
