Job Title: Network Engineer Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced network engineer with a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures.   • 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or support
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and other networking protocols
  • Experience with enterprise-grade firewalls and IDS/IPS systems
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, NetFlow)
  • Familiarity with behavior-based network analysis and anomaly detection
  • Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure
  • Configure and manage network devices (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto)
  • Perform network flow analysis and behavior-based traffic inspection to detect anomalies and optimize performance
  • Implement and maintain network security policies and access controls
  • Assist in network design and capacity planning for scalability and performance
  • Collaborate with L1 support and escalate issues as needed
  • Document network configurations, changes, and incident resolutions
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network incidents and outages
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for long-term fixes
  • Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and security threats
