Chief Operating Officer Job Summary:

This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving the strategic direction of our organization's operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operations, preferably in the hydrocarbon/petrochemical industry.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and implementing long-term operational strategies to align with business objectives
  • Ensuring seamless performance while maintaining high safety standards
  • Achieving continuous improvement in performance and customer satisfaction
  • Leading and directing a team of professionals
  • Developing operational plans that incorporate goals and objectives aligned with organizational strategy

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Guiding and reviewing maintenance plans and annual budgets to support plant objectives
  • Ensuring project completion on time and within budget
  • Reviewing marketing, logistics, and material procurement plans to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Investing in building people capabilities and competencies across all functions and disciplines
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory norms
  • Establishing and improving health, safety, environment, and fire (HSEF) systems to mitigate risk and achieve sustainable operation
  • Ensuring effective fund management and controls on budget and inventory
