Job Title: Enterprise Data Architect

We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Data Architect to join our team in Sydney. As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and aligned data architectures.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of architecting enterprise-level data solutions and experience with tools and platforms such as Databricks, Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.

You will also have strong understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance, as well as excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

This is a Work From Office role based in Sydney, on an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.

About the Role

As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and aligned data architectures.
  • Defining and maintaining data integration patterns and governance frameworks.
  • Developing and communicating data strategy and architecture roadmaps.
  • Collaborating with data engineers, developers, and analysts to ensure effective delivery.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to align solutions with business requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A proven track record of architecting enterprise-level data solutions.
  • Proficiency with tools and platforms such as Databricks, Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps.
  • A strong understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
