System Engineer

We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to join our team.

  • New Wash System Development: This role involves developing new wash systems for washing machines and dryers, both in India and globally.
  • Analytical Tools Application: The ideal candidate will apply analytical tools to develop unique selling propositions (USPs) and algorithms for home appliances.
  • Risk Identification and Resolution: Our System Engineer must identify and resolve potential risks through design failure mode and effects analysis (DFMEA).
  • Troubleshooting and System Level Issues: This role requires troubleshooting and resolving system-level issues with a focus on consumer and process partner requirements.
  • Customer and Marketing Expectations: The successful candidate will understand customer and marketing expectations, taking them into account when making decisions.

Required Skills:

  • Product/Technology Development & Testing Experience: Experience in product/technology development and testing in the home appliances domain, specifically in dryer/refrigeration/AC/WMC.
  • Global Energy and Performance Standards Knowledge: Knowledge of global energy and performance standards, including AHAM, IEC 60456, and IS Standards.
  • Theoretical Knowledge of Fluid Dynamics and Detergent Chemistry: Strong theoretical knowledge of fluid dynamics and detergent chemistry.
  • Communication, Project & Team Management Skills: Good communication, project, and team management skills.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel within India or other parts of the world for short or long durations.

Desired Skills:

  • System Programming Language Knowledge: Knowledge of system programming languages, with Python being preferred.
  • Sensor Interfacing Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of interfacing sensors, both analog and digital.
  • Design/CAD Software Experience: Experience with design/CAD software, with refrigeration/air condition cycle experience being a plus.
  • Six-Sigma Experience: Exposure and experience in Six-Sigma, with black belt certification being a plus.
  • Global Team Experience: Working experience with global teams.
  • Korean Language Proficiency: Korean language proficiency, including speaking, reading, and writing.
