Business Development Executive

R Town Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the dynamic field of General Insurance, driving business growth and developing strong relationships with corporate clients.
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients and expanding our presence in the market. Your key areas of focus will include:
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Function:
- Acquisition of New Clients: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Business Development for General Insurance Products: Develop and execute strategies to increase sales of General Insurance products, including Medical Claim, Asset, Fire, Liability, Engineering, Marine, and more.
- Create and Execute Strategies: Design and implement plans to explore new markets and retain existing clients, ensuring continued business growth.
- Drive Sales Team: Lead the sales team in making initial contact with potential clients, responding to inquiries, and managing RFQs/Mandate Letters.
- Pricing and Features: Provide clear understanding of product pricing and features, highlighting their impact on profitability.
Relationship Management:
- Handling Corporate Customers: Establish and maintain excellent relationships with corporate clients, leveraging your expertise to drive closures.
- Liaisoning with Insurers and TPAs: Collaborate with insurers and third-party administrators to provide better services and quotes to clients.
Other Functions:
- Coordinating with HR & Finance: Work closely with HR and Finance teams to gather corporate data.
- Administrative Guidelines: Ensure accurate documentation during policy issuance and claims servicing.
- Competitor Activities: Monitor competitor activities to stay informed about market trends and take proactive actions.
- Risk Portfolio Analysis: Analyze clients' risk portfolios, suggesting ways to mitigate losses and maintain a healthy bottom line.
Requirements
To succeed as a Business Development Executive, you will need:
- At least 3-6 years of experience in B2B sales and customer-facing roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High customer empathy.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
