Key Hiring Manager

We are seeking an experienced talent acquisition professional to lead hiring efforts for our global university's campuses. This role will focus on recruiting top talent, leveraging a strong understanding of the education landscape and networks across institutions.

  • Talent Acquisition Strategy: Collaborate with hiring managers, business heads, and university leaders to develop effective recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Sourcing & Talent Pipeline: Utilize multiple sourcing channels (job boards, referrals, social media, academic networks, and talent pools) to identify and engage high-quality candidates. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of active and passive talent for current and future roles.
  • Candidate Experience: Drive an engaging and seamless recruitment journey from initial contact to onboarding, ensuring candidates experience professionalism and transparency at every stage.
  • Employer Branding & Job Design: Partner with stakeholders to craft compelling job descriptions and promote openings through relevant channels, enhancing the employer brand in the education sector.
  • Data-Driven Recruitment: Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness, optimize processes, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure recruitment practices adhere to employment laws, UGC guidelines, and organizational policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment documentation.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Work closely with people managers and leadership to support the people agenda—fostering collaboration, morale, productivity, and retention.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor hiring strategies, and best practices to position the organization competitively in the talent market.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, with a strong focus in managing talent acquisition portfolios.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRMS, and other recruitment software/tools.
  • Proven track record of building high-performing teams from scratch and scaling recruitment processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
