Job Opportunity

A senior-level professional is required to lead project cost control initiatives, ensuring overall capital expenditure stays within approved budgets and management reporting indicates cost variance, actual spending, and forecasted cash flow.

The ideal candidate will ensure proper accounting of project costs, assets capitalization, inventory management, and common cost allocation to understand the true cost of projects. They will also optimize state incentives, documentations, representations, transfer pricing for compliance with inter-company transactions.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for land availability at optimized costs, partnering with treasury teams for export credit agency (ECA) and debt financing. Key responsibilities include:

  • Project accounting and capitalization: ensuring proper accounting of element-wise and stream-wise project costs, common cost allocation, finalization of transfer pricing for inter-company transactions, and asset capitalization.
  • Project financing: partnering with treasury and banking teams for ECA and debt financing at optimized costs.
  • Inventory management: continuous monitoring of project inventory, partnering with project management consultants/sub-contractors, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Incentive optimization: optimizing state incentives, representation to government, filing of documents and information with government as per policy, and system designing in line with incentive policy requirements.
  • Risk management and compliance: identifying and assessing financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate and manage these risks effectively and efficiently, and ensuring strict adherence to regulatory compliance.
  • Policies, processes, and procedures: creating standard policies, processes, and procedures that align with business objectives and monitoring their adherence to ensure work is carried out in a controlled manner.
  • People management: mentoring and developing respective teams to take on larger responsibilities and perform their roles efficiently.
