Job Role:

We are looking for an Engineer I who will contribute to all areas of development and operations (pre-production to production). You will be part of a global team supported by our business and architecture partners.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Participating in Agile ceremonies
  • Performing engineering assignments using existing procedures and best practices
  • Conducting research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts
  • Working closely with global teams to ensure effective technical solutions
  • Providing an escalation point and participating in on-call support rotations
  • Actively monitoring key metrics and reporting on trends
  • Participating in our Engineering Community of Practice
  • Contributing to engineering automation, management or development of production-level systems

Requirements include:

  • Completed Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible
  • Six to Eight+ years of engineering experience
  • Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with programming languages such as Java and Python
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with application development frameworks like Spring Boot
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with Cloud technologies and services such as AWS Lambda and AWS S3
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with data integration technologies such as Kafka
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with API-based system design
  • Experience working with relational and no-sql databases such as Postgres and MongoDB
  • Experience working with containers and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD principles and tools like Gitlab, Splunk and Datadog
  • Good knowledge and working experience in Agile methodology and familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Familiar with infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow
