Operations Manager Job Description">

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our operations department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manpower Planning: Develop and implement effective manpower planning strategies to ensure optimal resource allocation and meet productivity targets.
  • SOP Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high-quality standards and reduce errors.
  • Vehicle Management: Oversee the management of vehicles, including scheduling, maintenance, and fueling to ensure timely unloading/loading of vehicles.
  • Ad-Hoc Vehicle Requirements: Plan and coordinate ad-hoc vehicle requirements based on load profiles and facilitate communication with fleet teams.
  • Service Levels: Monitor and maintain service levels to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and performance metrics.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication and coordination among various teams, including commercial, security, fleet, and last mile.
  • Performance Metrics: Drive metrics in respective functions, such as inbound operations, outbound operations, floor operations, quality metrics, and first-mile metrics.
  • Employee Management: Handle HR/employee-related key result areas (KRAs), including diversity hiring, employee morale, employee safety, mentoring, and capability building.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and drive process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving productivity targets and improving operational efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
