Strategic Operations Leader

We are seeking a seasoned General Manager - Operations to lead our organization's operational strategy and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth, improving efficiency, and fostering a culture of excellence.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies that align with the company's overall vision and goals.
  • Oversee daily operations, including managing executives, IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other departments.
  • Lead employees to achieve maximum performance and dedication through effective communication, coaching, and development.
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics to drive informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute fundraising initiatives and expansion activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles, with a focus on operations management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience developing and implementing operational strategies and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of business process optimization, supply chain management, and logistics.
  • Financial acumen and budget management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in the ship repair & upgradation, shipbuilding, defence technology, equipment sales & services, and weapons & electronics industries.
  • Familiarity with maritime regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and ISO standards.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
