Postgraduate Admissions Counsellor Role

As a senior postgraduate admissions counsellor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the journeys of master's, PhD, and other postgraduate applicants. Your responsibilities will include providing personalized guidance on academics, extracurriculars, and application milestones.

  • Designing and overseeing structured mentorship schedules with external mentors to ensure students receive consistent support.
  • Conducting one-on-one profile evaluations, advising on academics, extracurriculars, summer schools, internships, and overall profile building.
  • Coaching students through standardized test preparation (SAT/ACT, APs, IELTS/TOEFL, etc.) and guiding them on subject or curriculum equivalencies (IB, A-Levels, CBSE, ISC, etc.).

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's and Master's degree in any discipline, preferably with personal experience of postgraduate study abroad in the U.S., U.K., Canada, or Europe.
  • 3–5 years of experience in postgraduate admissions counselling, higher education advisory, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of program-specific requirements for Master's, PhD, MBA, and other postgraduate degrees.
