Job Description: Education Counsellor

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Education Counsellor to join our dynamic team. As an Education Counsellor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding aspiring students toward achieving their educational and career aspirations. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from student counselling to team management, ensuring the success and growth of our institute.

Responsibilities >>

Team Management and Leadership:
Lead and train the counselling team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Develop and implement new sales strategies to achieve enrollment targets.

Make informed decisions based on market and competitor analysis.

Ensure the team is updated on new courses and industry trends.

Learn and adapt to new trends and methodologies in the education sector.

Contribute to company growth by identifying courses that could increase sales.

Sales and Lead Management:
Build strong relationships with students, providing ongoing support and motivation throughout their learning journey.

Conduct online counselling sessions (calls, video platforms) to assess student needs, goals, and learning styles.

Give compelling sales pitches to students regarding course details, admission processes, and career opportunities, and assist them in selecting the appropriate courses based on their interests and career goals.

Follow up with potential students to ensure a smooth enrollment process.

Effectively manage leads and follow up to maximize conversion rates.

Maintain accurate records of student interactions and update the CRM system.

Market Analysis and Course Development:
Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to recommend new courses.

Collaborate with the department to introduce new courses to the institutes offerings.

Stay updated with new course offerings and industry trends.

Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Key Skills:
2-5 years of experience in counselling (education, career, or similar).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with students.

Strong understanding of the online education landscape and learning management systems.

Knowledge of CRM software and lead management processes is advantageous.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.
