Job Description

The role of the Purchase Executive in a pharmaceutical company's Cosmetics and Nutraceutical Division involves responsible procurement of raw materials, packaging items, and consumables required for cosmetic product manufacturing.

Key responsibilities include sourcing from approved vendors, maintaining inventory levels, and aligning with production schedules while adhering to regulatory and quality compliance standards.

  • Sourcing and procurement of raw materials, active ingredients, fragrances, and packaging items.
  • Management of purchase orders (POs) in line with production and inventory needs.
  • Negotiation with vendors for price, lead times, and quality compliance.
  • Evaluation of vendor performance based on quality, delivery time, and cost.
  • Ensuring adherence to procurement policies, SOPs, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
  • Record maintenance and documentation for audits and quality checks.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess strong understanding of procurement processes in the cosmetics/pharma industry. Knowledge of raw materials used in cosmetics is also essential. Familiarity with GMP, FDA, and cosmetic regulatory requirements is necessary.
