We are seeking a seasoned data analytics professional to join our team as a Data Platform Engineer. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing scalable data platforms for our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Independently design, build, and manage customer data platforms using Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and SQL.
  2. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather business requirements and translate them into reliable data solutions.
  3. Develop and maintain ELT pipelines with Fivetran and dbt to automate data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
  4. Optimize SQL code and data models for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency in Snowflake.
  5. Ensure data platform reliability, monitoring, and data quality maintenance.
  6. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
  7. Maintain clear and thorough documentation of engineering processes and architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  1. Proven hands-on experience with :
    - Snowflake cloud data platform (data modeling, security, performance tuning)
    - dbt (data build tool) for ELT workflows
    - Fivetran (connector management, troubleshooting)
    - Advanced SQL programming and optimization
    - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT best practices, and modern data stack architectures.
    - Experience working independently and owning project deliverables end-to-end.
    - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and workflow automation tools.
    - Solid communication and documentation skills.
    - Ability to interact directly with clients and understand business requirements.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data pipelines
  • Experience with BI/analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
