AP Financial Operations Specialist

The role of the AP Financial Operations Specialist is a vital part of our organization's finance team. This dynamic position plays a crucial role in maintaining financial health and operational efficiency.

This specialist manages and processes financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and industry standards. The role collaborates with various departments to optimize accounts payable processes and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate transaction records are maintained.
  • Process financial transactions and communicate with internal and external partners.
  • Analyze and verify company records following organizational rules and industry privacy standards.
  • Work effectively as an individual contributor and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict privacy guidelines when handling sensitive information.
  • Prioritize deadlines and ensure that important documents are processed and sent to the right parties.
  • Pay close attention to detail when completing complex transactions and organizing financial data for readability.
  • Prepare weekly reports for the Procure-to-Pay area and support P2P Managers by responding to communications, managing revenue and expense forecasts, and driving growth in their businesses.
  • Contribute to the month-end close process, including reviewing SOX support and variance.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Languages: English
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, changing environment.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with internal and external suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team to solve complex problems.
  • Willingness to learn and utilize Oracle applications, business objects, and other software tools.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to monitor tasks until completion.
  • Incident reporting and tracking capabilities.
  • Financial data analysis and trend identification skills.
  • Able to analyze and build reporting for key performance metrics.
  • Strong problem-solving and presentation skills.
  • Commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including PM (EMEA Time Zone).

About the Role:

This is a full-time, permanent position within the Finance & Accounting department.
