Legal Counsel Job Description

This role is a unique opportunity to join our organization as a Legal Counsel, responsible for managing all legal and compliance matters.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and coordination skills, be proactive, and able to independently manage a wide range of legal responsibilities.

  • Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, affidavits, and applications.
  • Handle compliance-related work across corporate, real estate, and regulatory matters.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings, hearings, and government offices when required.
  • Prepare and file applications, petitions, and responses with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain organized legal records and case files.
  • Coordinate with senior advocates, external counsel, and consultants to ensure smooth handling of ongoing matters.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws/regulations and keep management updated.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to management on various transactions and disputes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • LL.B. degree (LL.M. preferred but not mandatory).
  • Enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.
  • 3+ years of experience in litigation, compliance, or corporate law (real estate exposure preferred).
  • Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory processes, property laws, and commercial law.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with senior lawyers.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines independently.
