AS400 Programmer Position

We are looking for a highly skilled AS400 programmer to join our team.

  • Proficient in IBM AS400 iSeries platform and RPGLE programming.
  • Experience in Integrated Language Environment (ILE) and creating/deploying RPG/CL programs.
  • Knowledge of SEU, PDM, DFU, and Spool files.
  • Skilled in iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS).
  • Familiarity with Web Services, XML, HTML, and JavaScript is a plus.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the AS400 platform, RPGLE programming, and ILE. He/she should be able to create and deploy RPG/CL programs, work with SEU, PDM, DFU, and Spool files, and utilize iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS). Knowledge of Web Services, XML, HTML, and JavaScript is a desirable skill.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient AS400 solutions.
  • Collaborate with junior developers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Design and develop new features and functionality.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with the AS400 platform.
  • Strong understanding of RPGLE programming and ILE.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Web Services, XML, HTML, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
