Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled AS400 expert with extensive knowledge of RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2 programming. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ILE programming, including modular programming in ILE-RPG.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the development industry with exposure to complete life cycle of development on commercial applications is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of AS400 technology (RPGLE, CLLE, DB2) and ILE programming is essential.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for executing & coordinating SIT & UAT with another vendor and project implementation.
  • Experience in troubleshooting during various phases of development is necessary.
  • Ability to write complex CL programs is also required.
  • Knowledge of DB2 concepts and associated methodologies is essential.

The successful candidate will be able to work well under pressure and in a team environment, with good English communication skills and experience in a multi-cultural work environment.

Requirements
  • Experience in the insurance domain, preferably in life insurance, is preferred.
  • Ability to work as part of a larger team to ensure satisfactory deliveries is essential.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment is necessary.
  • Self-motivation, flexibility, responsibility, and a desire for quality are required.
