Key Job Description:

This role focuses on providing high-quality database administration services to support business applications and ensure data integrity.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex corporate IT infrastructure, with a strong background in senior database administration.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is essential, along with 2 years of experience in supporting failover clustering, SAN replication, database replication, SQL high availability technologies, analysis services, integration services, and reporting services.

Performance tuning and management skills, specifically related to SQL Server, are also crucial. The successful candidate should have experience in troubleshooting and writing complex queries.

Additionally, knowledge of critical technologies such as MS Exchange, Active Directory, operating systems, AV protection, monitoring, and configuration systems is desirable.

Experience with Redgate SQL Monitor and SQL Backup is essential, as well as previous work within a financial services organization.

Previous experience in Data/DevOps, continuous integration, and migrating between versions of SQL Server is also beneficial.

Finally, the ability to provide 24/7 production and development support for business-critical applications and servers is necessary.
