Job Description

As a content creator, you will play a pivotal role in envisioning and executing innovative electioneering campaigns for a leading political consulting organization.

Our team comprises a diverse group of dedicated individuals, including former management consultants, lawyers, engineers, political theorists, public policy professionals, and experts from other sectors. We are seeking a creative and fast-paced individual who can brainstorm fresh ideas and turn them into polished, engaging content for our social media channels.

  • We are looking for someone who can conceptualize original content ideas, design and produce high-quality graphics and short-form videos, and adapt content for different social media platforms.
  • You will work closely with the communications team to ensure all content is factually accurate and aligned with the overall narrative and campaign objectives.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience as a Content Creator or similar role and a strong portfolio showcasing their creative work. They should be proficient in Canva and mobile video editing apps like InShot and CapCut.

A keen interest in Indian politics and current affairs is essential. Bonus points for previous experience creating content in a media setting, PR/communications agency, public affairs, or a political/advocacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualization & Ideation: Develop original content ideas that align with political and social messaging.
  • Hands-On Creation: Design and produce high-quality graphics and short-form videos.
  • Tool Proficiency: Utilize design tools like Canva and mobile-first video editing apps.
  • Trendspotting: Stay updated with the latest social media trends, meme formats, and viral content.
  • Multi-Platform Adaptation: Quickly adapt and resize content for different social media platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the communications team to ensure all content is factually accurate.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a Content Creator or similar role.
  • Strong Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your creative work is essential.
  • Mastery of Canva: High proficiency in Canva or similar tools is a must.
  • Video Editing Skills: Experience with mobile video editing apps for creating sharp, fast-paced Reels and Shorts.
  • Social Media Native: An intuitive understanding of what type of content works and why on different social media platforms.
  • Speed & Agility: The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Political Interest: A keen interest in and good understanding of Indian politics and current affairs.
