As a key player in the healthcare industry, Medanta is expanding its services to meet the growing demand for quality care. We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee our vendor-managed inventory operations.
Job Title: Inventory ManagerThis role involves conducting thorough analyses of our vendor relationships, identifying areas for optimization, and ensuring seamless supply chain operations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed vendor analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Negotiate strategic agreements with manufacturers and suppliers, setting new benchmarks for pricing and service.
- Establish and maintain group-wide price agreements for high-value medical supplies.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure performance, delivery, and compliance.
- Implement and monitor VMI systems across all hospital units.
- Oversee timely receipt of credit notes and Trade Offer Discounts from vendors.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for VMI operations.
- Track and reconcile inventory stock across all units to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Lead the creation and implementation of brand recommendations based on clinical, financial, and operational inputs.
- Monitor compliance with brand recommendations and measure resultant cost savings.
- E nsure adherence to statutory guidelines to prevent legal or regulatory non-compliances.
- Address and prevent audit observations and risks related to VMI practices.
- Develop a markup policy for vendor-managed items aligned with pricing strategy.
- Maintain a discount tracker for visibility, transparency, and realization of negotiated benefits.
