The Tax Services Group is a dynamic team of specialists dedicated to ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting while minimizing or deferring tax payments. Leveraging their comprehensive understanding of international, US federal, state, and local regulations, they develop cost-effective tax strategies globally.

As a senior member in our India office, you'll report to the Tax Managers and collaborate with the US Tax Services Group on various engagements. You'll also mentor and train tax staff.

We spend our time:

  • Preparing complex single & consolidation corporate returns, including operating partnership returns.
  • Reviewing corporate and partnership books to ensure accurate tax reconciliations and returns.
  • Identifying potential tax law changes and reflecting them in work-papers and returns.
  • Supporting staff in resolving tax issues and completing tax returns within set deadlines.
  • Understanding international filing requirements and reviewing international forms.
  • Training new joiners on concepts and technology, providing timely feedback.
  • Independently managing kick-off meetings and regular connects with US counterparts, tracking budgets.
  • Knowledge of e-file validation and Go support for complex diagnostics.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of post-qualification experience with an accounting firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or Master's degree in finance or MBA education.
  • Experience and knowledge of the U.S. Tax Code required.
  • Strong English language skills, both written and verbal communication.
  • A strong commitment to an entrepreneurial work ethic.
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize information to make recommendations.
  • Manage multiple engagements simultaneously and communicate effectively with Domestic (US) engagement teams.
