Counseling Coordinator Job Description

Role Overview:

This role requires a professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently.

The Counseling Coordinator will lead initiatives to generate and engage with potential students and business partners to drive sales. This includes telesales, identifying counseling seekers, coordinating meetings, and collecting details of potential study abroad students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Telesales: Reach out to given leads, cold call potential partners through targeted research
  • Identify counseling seekers and coordinate meetings
  • Coordinate sales and payment collection
  • Collect details of potential study abroad students
  • Initial Counseling: Shortlist universities and courses - training will be provided
  • Establish relationships with foreign Universities
  • Maintain a diary of leads, follow-ups, meeting schedules, and payments
  • Proficiency in basic event-related designs using Canva
  • Manage events at schools

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or MBA
  • 1-3 years' prior industry experience in business development and telesales
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Sincere, non-smoker, and enthusiastic about work with innovative ideas
