Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer to lead and develop a high-performing team of structural engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage junior structural engineers in collaboration with senior technical staff.
  • Provide strategic direction, technical guidance, and performance reviews for the structural team.
  • Oversee structural engineering projects from concept through completion, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure timely delivery of engineering designs, plans, and documents within quality and cost parameters.
  • Conduct technical reviews, quality assurance checks, and risk assessments for ongoing projects.
  • Lead and review the development of structural design for buildings, retaining walls, and other structures.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering calculations, load assessments, and finite element analysis using software tools.
  • Validate design assumptions and methodologies against applicable international and local standards.
  • Optimize structural systems and materials.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on structural matters.
  • Participate in design charrettes, pre-construction meetings, and construction progress meetings.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, RCDC).
