Thingworx Developer Position

We are looking for an experienced ThingWorx developer to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing ThingWorx solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining ThingWorx applications
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define project requirements
  • Designing and implementing data models and interfaces
  • Ensuring high-quality code and adherence to coding standards
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong hands-on experience with ThingWorx (PTC tool)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript coding (strict syntax)
  • Knowledge of SQL (Sequel) and Capware
  • Experience with IIoT and manufacturing domain a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

A strong understanding of IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, Modbus) and communication technologies (e.g., Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa) would be beneficial. Experience with PLC programming and Kepware is also desirable.
