Shooting Coach

This is a full-time position responsible for developing and implementing a structured shooting program, focusing on the technical, tactical, and mental skills required in shooting sports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver age-appropriate training sessions for beginners, intermediate, and advanced shooters.
  • Develop students' technical and tactical skills through hands-on coaching and feedback.
  • Identify and nurture talent for district, state, national, and international competitions.
  • Provide individualized guidance to enhance performance and confidence.
  • Establish a comprehensive shooting curriculum aligned with the school's sports vision.
  • Promote shooting as a sport of focus, discipline, and concentration.
  • Coordinate with management for event participation and talent promotion.
  • Ensure inclusivity, encouraging both recreational and competitive participation.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols at all times.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the shooting range, equipment, and accessories.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, servicing, and inventory.
  • Train students in responsible use and care of equipment.
  • Monitor and evaluate student performance and progress.
  • Share feedback and progress reports with students, parents, and leadership.
  • Record training sessions, performance outcomes, and competition results.
  • Prepare students for intra-school, inter-school, and external shooting competitions.
  • Organize shooting events, demonstrations, and awareness programs.
  • Build pathways for students aspiring to pursue shooting professionally.
  • Stay updated with the latest techniques, technologies, and regulations.
  • Network with federations, academies, and sports bodies to expand opportunities.
  • Enhance coaching methods and strategies through continuous training and certifications.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or Sports Science (preferred).
  • Certified Shooting Coach (National Rifle Association of India or equivalent certification mandatory).
  • Additional certifications in sports psychology or fitness training (desirable).
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Shooting Coach with a proven track record of coaching.
  • Experience training students for district/state/national-level competitions.
  • International school setting experience is an advantage.
