About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will focus on precision part design and documentation for CNC-machined and cast components.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Validating designs through simulations and tests
- Creating technical drawings and documentation that meet industry standards
- Applying GD&T principles to define form, fit, and function of parts according to ISO and ASME Y14.5 standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to iterate on designs
- Providing technical input on manufacturability during design reviews
Required Qualifications:
- 2-7 years of hands-on experience in 2D mechanical engineering for products from prototype to production, focusing on CNC machining and casting
- Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and other CAD software such as NX and CATIA
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T principles and certification according to ISO or ASME Y14.5 is preferred but not mandatory
