Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to lead our Engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that support the achievement of our hotel's goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with a proven track record of managing engineering teams and third-party vendors to ensure superior service and quality.

They will also be responsible for reviewing contracts and negotiating revisions, as well as interpreting plans and contract terms with the engineering team, management, clients, and vendors.

In addition, they will monitor compliance with building safety codes, health and safety laws, and other regulations, conduct walk-throughs to assess the safety and efficiency of equipment and maintenance of structure.

They will also maintain Responsible Business programs and training for the hotel, and manage hotel renovations, coordinating project status with the Regional Technical Services Office, architects, licensing agencies, contractors, and hotel management.
