Accounting Manager - Financial Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our clients, ensuring timely and accurate monthly property financial statements, and maintaining all necessary accounting controls within the framework of GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate exceptional client service with account leadership and the Finance team
  • Develop strategic partnerships with Account Directors and leadership teams
  • Review timely and accurate monthly property financial statements by established deadlines
  • Submit financial statements and workpapers in reviewable form, including documentation, within the proper time frame for review
  • Document the resolution of all issues identified in the Manager's review of financial statements
  • Responsible for cash management of assigned clients, calculate accruals, and work with Facility Managers to ensure all accruals are booked
  • Assist in the budget process and review the budget from an accounting perspective
  • Review finance package reviews, submit ASC606 PSFT expense approvals, and ensure all bank statements are reconciled on a timely basis
Requirements:
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with internal and external clients as well as professionals within the department
  • Minimum 7-10 years of operational general ledger accounting and finance experience, including profit and loss analysis, balance sheet overview, variance analysis, and forecasting
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, logical thinking, and a positive attitude to develop solutions quickly
  • Demonstrates professional leadership skills through effective work habits, attitude, interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure with multiple and changing priorities
