Production Operations Specialist

Job Description:

As a seasoned production operations specialist, you'll spearhead complex projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project timelines, identify risks, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

You will work closely with internal customers to develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely execution and successful outcomes. Your expertise in managing operational risks, communicating key performance indicators, and driving efficiency improvements will be invaluable assets to the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, leveraging partner resources and promoting ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Anticipate and mitigate production-related risks, working collaboratively with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure seamless line bring-ups, material availability, and quality issues are addressed.
  • Collaborate with OEM partners to drive performance goals for Quality, Turn Around Time (TAT), and Throughput (I/O/S), ensuring these metrics are met or exceeded throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Facilitate communication and planning between cross-functional teams and stakeholders, adapting plans as needed to meet changing customer requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in electronics or computer consumer hardware.
  • Proven expertise in manufacturing or operations, including Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) management and Supply Chain Management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Operations Engineering, or other relevant field.
  • Experience working within the consumer technology market, collaborating with OEMs and third-party suppliers.
  • Strong background in global and cross-functional team collaboration, both internally and externally.
