Director of Retail Business Growth

Job Description:

The Director of Retail Business Growth will spearhead the expansion of retail trade and Forex business through strategic alliances with national and regional influencers. The role holder will be responsible for managing partnerships, driving initiatives to maximize income delivery, and enhancing overall performance.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Executing partnerships to achieve income delivery targets through effective execution and negotiation of agreements with partners.
  • Ensuring the selection, documentation, and initiation of partnerships with suitable partners.
  • Monitoring the health of the business from partners and ensuring timely settlements.
  • Strong stakeholder management, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in central office - channel management deliverables.
  • Effective handle on channel management facets of the business.

Core Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for all partners and prospects.
  • Accountable for all control function interfacing including but not limited to compliance, legal, finance, and SPU.
  • Driving business delivery via daily engagements with internal channel members.
  • Responsible for driving initiatives aimed at achieving revenue targets.
  • Daily dashboarding; creation of engagement and review platforms to ensure delivery of budgets.
  • Bridge between partners and YBL for product-related feedback, issues, and resolutions.

People Management or Self-Management Responsibilities:

  • Organizing regular training for resources on products, processes, competition benchmarking for trade and Forex business in the retail segment.
  • Bridge between sales teams and product teams for product-related feedback, issues, and resolutions.
  • Periodically reviewing performance to identify business leakages and take corrective measures.
