Job Title: Production Planning and Control Professional

Job Description

The role involves creating and executing work orders for sub-assemblies and finished goods, ensuring timely kitting activities, implementing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), tracking material aging to prevent stockouts, maintaining First Article Test Plan (FATP) work-in-progress at optimal levels, meeting customer commitments without delays or gaps, and monitoring production rates to meet planned targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create Work Orders: Develop and execute work orders for all sub-assemblies and finished goods.
  • Monitor Warehouse Inventory: Regularly check warehouse inventory levels and ensure timely kitting activities.
  • Implement ECOs: Implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for all sub-assemblies.
  • Manage Material Aging: Track and manage material aging to prevent stockouts.
  • Maintain FATP Levels: Maintain First Article Test Plan (FATP) work-in-progress at optimal levels.
  • Meet Customer Commitments: Meet customer commitments without delays or gaps.
  • Improve Production Rates: Monitor and improve production rates to meet planned targets.
  • Daily Meetings: Conduct daily meetings with cross-functional teams to identify losses and address issues with the right personnel.
Requirements

Skills: Strong planning and organizational skills, excellent communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, supply chain management, or operations management.
