Global Trade Service Specialist Role

This is a specialist role in SAP GTS implementation and support. The position involves designing and developing custom solutions to meet business needs, integrating with other systems, and performing extensive integration testing.


  • Key Responsibilities: Full life cycle implementation experience in SAP GTS, including design, analysis, development, customization, assembly, and integration testing.
  • Customs Management Expertise: Configuration experience in AES/ATLAS for setting up communication processes for generating EU/US customs declarations import/export, configuring PPF for form generation, defining default data, and electronic filing with customs authorities via See Burger middleware.
  • Master Data Setup Skills: Product classification (ECCN, HTS), business partners, and integration of third-party data for denied party lists, customs offices, and customs duty rates.
  • Integration Expert: Experience in integrating with See Burger BIS6 for automatic filing and customs process imports and export declarations integrated with customs broker interfaces and forwarder broker interfaces as per country legal regulations.
  • Compliance Management Professional: Settings for sanctioned party list screening, embargo, and legal control through license management (defining and assigning numbering schemes to legal regulations, activation of defined legal regulations, maintaining control settings, defining and assigning license types, maintaining/uploading ECCNs, uploading product classification files, and maintaining license determination strategy).
