U.S. Treasury Trader Position

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a critical role in our global markets team.

The ideal candidate is an IIM alumnus with a strong academic record and a solid grasp of quantitative methods.

This position involves trading U.S. government securities, including Treasury Bills, Notes, and Bonds, while monitoring market conditions and economic indicators.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing and managing trades in U.S. Treasuries, taking into account market liquidity, interest rate movements, and macroeconomic data.
  • Analyzing economic indicators, yield curves, and monetary policy impacts to inform trading decisions.
  • Developing quantitative models for pricing, risk evaluation, and portfolio optimization.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and trade integrity.
  • Monitoring profitability, exposure, and maintaining disciplined position management.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of fixed income markets, bond pricing, and duration/convexity risk.

A strong proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel (advanced), and programming tools such as Python or R is also essential.

Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and composed under pressure, the ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset and a commitment to ethical trading practices to this role.
