Senior Legal Executive Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated legal professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in litigation, corporate law, and legal research.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Draft and prepare notices, pleadings, and written statements for trials and hearings.
  • Collaborate with external counsel on case strategy and pleadings.
  • Maintain cause-lists trackers and keep management updated on the status of cases.
  • Organize and maintain legal files and documentation.

Additional Duties:

  • Coordinate the registration of agreements at the Sub Registrar's Office.
  • Review and respond to customer notices, police notifications, and government communications.
  • Act as a liaison between functional areas for day-to-day legal matters.
  • Stay updated on relevant statutes, regulations, and case laws through research.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a reputable institution.
  • 3-4 years of experience handling litigation in a reputable law firm or corporate setting.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools such as Livelaw, Manu Patra, Westlaw, and LexisNexis.
