Job Overview

The Deputy Manager will be responsible for leading operational activities in the Enterprise Risk Management function.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management framework across the organization.
  • Create a robust internal control system to mitigate risks.
  • IDentify, evaluate, and document control weaknesses and deficiencies; and develop recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.
  • Maintain and update Risk Registers (RCSA).
  • Conduct regular review of current business processes, identify control gaps and deficiencies, and develop recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.
  • Update the Enterprise Risk Policy to accommodate changing regulatory / strategic scenarios.
  • Support Principal Risk Owners with identifying key risks and mitigating controls in their business units.
  • Prepare reports for the Risk Committee, Executive Management Team, and Board Committees.
Educational Qualification
  • A graduate degree in finance, management, or risk management from a reputable institution is preferred. Certifications such as FRM, CFA, CBCP are highly valued.
Experience
  • A minimum of 4-8 years of experience in a similar role is required.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Exchange ecosystem and operations.
Functional Competencies
  • Principles of risk management.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of risk identification, assessment, and management frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of control frameworks and the ability to design and evaluate effectiveness of controls embedded within business processes.
  • Knowledge of risk and governance standards such as COSO framework and Basel Corporate Governance Principles.
