Job Summary:

Sales Operations Analytics Engineer

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of analytical, technical, and business acumen skills to drive strategic decision-making in sales operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical models to track sales metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights on merchant acquisition, retention, growth, and regional performance.
  • Strategic Insights & Recommendations: Analyze sales data, market trends, and workflows to identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency, and revenue growth. Present clear and actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Forecasting & Planning Support: Assist with forecasting, capacity planning, and target setting by leveraging statistical models, historical data, and market intelligence for accurate projections.
  • Data Infrastructure & Tools: Collaborate with data engineering and BI teams to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and scalable solutions. Utilize SQL, Python, and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) for data extraction and presentation.
  • Sales Funnel Optimization: Examine funnel performance, conversion rates, and sales cycle efficiency to identify bottlenecks and recommend process enhancements.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis to address specific business questions and provide timely data-driven insights for critical decisions.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in sales analytics or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
