Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional who is passionate about the broadband, telecom, and outside plant industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industry requirements for all outside plant engineering and construction needs.

This individual must be able to review customer-provided Request for Proposals (RFPs) documents to gain a full understanding including but not limited to project scope, RFP response requirements, project specifications, project schedule, and customer objectives.

Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive estimate and bid preparation templates specifically tailored to each RFP project, utilizing expert-level proficiency in Excel to build cost breakdowns, high-level schedules, risk registers, preliminary resource plans, and populate customer bid pricing forms and pricing sheets for RFP submittals.

Candidate must collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary project information and ensure accurate estimates. Conduct thorough analysis and research to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to present estimates, address inquiries, and provide recommendations as needed.

A strong passion for the industry and a drive for excellence are essential. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail are required. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is crucial.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in estimating within the broadband, telecom, or outside plant industry. Expertise in Excel with the ability to develop complex spreadsheets and models is mandatory. Self-motivated individual with a strong passion for the industry and a drive for excellence. Excellent written and communication skills in English are necessary.

Knowledge of construction materials, processes, trade practices, and equipment is essential. OSHA 10, 30 Certifications are preferred.
