Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in establishing, stabilizing, and optimizing manufacturing processes.

About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to drive efficiency, quality, and innovation in production shopfloor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MES capability assessment & formulation of functional architecture & requirements.
  • Evaluating MES platforms based on fitment across various strategic, financial and functional pillars.
  • Familiarity with MES tools like Siemens, NEXEED, PTC or Dassault is highly desirable.
  • Identifying areas for improvement, mining digital use cases and developing strategies to enhance production efficiency, quality and reduce cost.
  • Providing expert consulting services on automation, IoT, and data analytics in the manufacturing space.
  • Knowledge of IOT platforms like Insights Hub, Azure, AWS etc is highly desirable.
  • Utilizing data analytics to extract insights from production data, make data-driven decisions and help manage performance indicators.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in production management, business management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • MBA from tier-1 institutes not mandatory but highly desirable.
  • Proven experience with Battery or EV OEM or consulting industry in Smart Plant vertical.

Consulting Skills:

  • Experience creating and leading client proposals by combining the right mix of capability and Industry POV.
  • A thought leader to demonstrate deep industry knowledge and innovation in manufacturing via POVs and assets.
  • Strong business development appetite while scanning market movements and creating opportunities for growth.
  • Effective project management abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Industry Experience:

  • 7-13 years of overall experience.

Smart Plant Functional Expertise:

  • Experience in Automotive / EV (including Battery Pack Assembly) ; Gigafactory (Cell Manufacturing)
