We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Ignition SCADA and MES initiatives.

Job Description:
  • Design, configure, and deploy Ignition SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations
  • Develop and implement real-time data acquisition visualization and reporting solutions
  • Ensure seamless integration of OT systems, PLC, SCADA, MES, with enterprise IT systems, ERP databases, cloud
  • Develop and maintain secure, efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols
  • Manage industrial databases, SQL historian, timeseries databases for high availability and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs
  • Provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives such as Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, and predictive analytics
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing SCADA/MES deployments to ensure minimal downtime
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, SPC, etc
  • Proficiency with database technologies, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies
  • REST APIs for system interconnectivity
  • MQTT for IIoT messaging and lightweight communication
  • OPC UA for industrial interoperability
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLC, SCADA, HMIs, and plant floor connectivity
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards, ISA95, ISA88, ISA99, IEC 62443
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms, Azure IoT, AWS IoT, etc
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments
  • Familiarity with containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, for SCADA/MES deployments
  • Experience in working on large-scale digital transformation, Industry 4.0 projects
  • Certifications, Ignition Gold Certified Specialist, OPC UA, or relevant industrial IT/OT certifications
