Job Title: AI Data Scientist for Oil & Gas Operations

We are seeking an experienced professional to work closely with our business and IT teams. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in data analysis, machine learning development, and domain knowledge in Oil & Gas.

The role involves translating domain requirements into data-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize costs across various datasets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in gathering, prioritization, and validation of data use cases related to E&P (Geophysics, Reservoir, Drilling), O&M, and HSE.
  • Develop and validate machine learning models using classification, regression, and clustering techniques.
  • Prepare and cleanse data, perform feature engineering, and support exploratory data analysis.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines using big data platforms like Spark and Databricks.
  • Collaborate in model deployment and maintenance, including automated retraining.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, ethical use, and security policies.
  • Create dashboards and reports to measure KPIs such as downtime reduction and process optimization.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in data analysis, machine learning, and software development.
  • Proficient in Python, SQL/NoSQL, and big data technologies.
  • Familiar with cloud ML platforms and MLOps fundamentals.
  • Good documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
